In the past few months, they have organized various distribution events to provide hot meals, hand sanitizer, masks, and basic necessities to thousands of health care workers, farmworkers and families in South Florida who are on the frontlines of COVID-19 and have felt the impact more acutely in their communities.
In commemoration of September 11th they will be joined by the Super Insurance Group to help 1,000 families in South Florida by providing care packages which will be available for families to pick up on location via drive-thru, while supplies last.
As part of Hispanic Star’s and Love Soldiers’ Futuro Hispano initiative, created to inform and persuade Hispanic families to fill out the Census 2020, U.S. Census representatives will also be in attendance to remind families about the importance of filling out the Census, answer any questions they may have and reassure Hispanic families that they have nothing to fear.
