The Latino Startup Alliance, LSA, is an organization that encourages the inspiration and cultivation of U.S. Latino-led technology ventures by providing a strong support network. LSA’s Innovator Summit brought together tech entrepreneurs with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and mentors for two days of keynotes, talks, workshops, pitches, and networking to help support Latino startups all over the world.

StudyRoom CEO and Co-Founder Emerson Malca said, “We are excited with all the work LSA is doing to support the Latino startup community and couldn’t be more honored to have won the startup pitch competition at the First Innovation Summit.”

StudyRoom will be officially launching at five universities including Malca’s alma matter San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, Pennsylvania State University, UC Santa Cruz and UC Berkeley.

StudyRoom’s corporate mission is to increase the learning outcome of every student through social learning, thus closing the achievement gap.
