(Inglés) Balsera Communications Expands Public Relations Team
MIAMI – November 7, 2013 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Balsera Communications, one of the nation’s premier U.S. Hispanic public relations firms, today announced the two newest additions to its team: Account Executive, Roshana Gossoff and Junior Account Executive, Alessandra Nuñez. Both will support the agency’s expanding portfolio of clients looking to reach U.S. Hispanic audiences.
As a new Account Executive, Roshana will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of the firm’s accounts, including: Vme TV and the National Hispanic Landscape Alliance aswell as support social media strategies for agency clients. Before joining Balsera Communications, Roshana received a MS in Mass Communication at Florida International University, completing the Global Strategic Communications program where she focused on the U.S. Hispanic demographic and linguistic acculturation and media consumption. Roshana also has previous public relations, media relations and event planning experience in both consumer and trade, having worked on a range of accounts and campaigns in both the U.S. Hispanic and general market. Roshana is a member of the Public Relations Society of America as well as the Hispanic Public Relations Association and is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
Jr. Account Executive Alessandra Nuñez will provide additional support to the firm’s accounts, including: UnitedHealthcare and Catholic Relief Services. She will also assist with client and agency social media strategies. Alessandra recently graduated from Emory University in 2012, where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology and Italian Studies. During her time there, she interned at Turner Network Sales, where she worked with the Metrics and Tune-In team in analyzing post-campaign metrics from distribution partners. She also worked as an intern with the event-planning department at Make-A-Wish Georgia, where she assisted with the organization and implementation of the Celebration of Wishes Gala. Alessandra was a member of the T-Howard Foundation Talent Pool Class of 2012 and also became a Campus Ambassador for the organization. During her time at Emory, she also cofounded the ALPFA Emory Student Chapter, an organization dedicated to enhancing business opportunities for Latino students. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
